wiling the hours away..
Recently I’ve been diving back into visuals, namely because my friends over at More/Less are having a party and asked if I could do something. It’s been a little while, after my complete life crash and then needing to get another job the hours of which are not conducive to live visuals.
I was hoping to use Flash here, and create some things, but due to the fact that my keydrive for some mysterious reason doesn’t work, I came up with other options:

VVVV (found at vvvv.org) is a piece of software that can be used to create some amazing works. A bit of patience, and tearing apart example patches, can yield some surprising results. This above was created with no reference really, just me thinking of some ideas. The color bars are quads, rotated, and placed with some random parameters guiding the widths, and a “cycle r” that runs through a defined spectrum. I enjoyed getting back into vvvv again, the new version supports VST’s so, I’m excited to see where I can take that.
